Who is responsible for your information
For your account, payment and usage information, we are the "controller". For the details of your clients that you type into DecorQuote (such as names, venues and event details), you decide what to enter and why, and we only store and process it on your behalf to provide the service. Please make sure you have a proper reason to hold your clients' details.
What we collect

Our reasons for using your information
- To perform our contract with you: running your account and providing the service you bought.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, preventing misuse and fixing problems.
- Legal obligations: keeping payment and tax records.
Who we share it with
We use these providers to run DecorQuote. They process information only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (your account, business data and logo).
- Vercel — hosting and serving the website.
- Stripe — taking payment and issuing receipts. Stripe is also responsible for its own handling of your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts and Cloudflare (cdnjs) — your browser loads fonts and some scripts from them, which means your IP address is visible to them.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies and browser storage
DecorQuote does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser stores a sign-in session so that you stay logged in; this is strictly necessary for the service. Stripe's checkout page sets its own cookies, which are covered by Stripe's policies.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place to protect it, as required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business information while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account we will delete your data, except for payment and accounting records we must keep by law (normally six years). If you receive a full refund your access ends but we do not delete your saved data unless you ask us to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, email [CONTACT EMAIL] from your account email address. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
Each account's data is separated at database level so that you can only access your own information. Payments are processed by Stripe, and access is only granted after Stripe confirms payment to our server. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
DecorQuote is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email.
